We could all use a little spa time every now and then, and naturally treated, chemical free, trish + co. wooden boards are no different.
Wood Food (our food-safe protective treatment, with natural antibacterial properties) brings out the luster of wood, and replaces natural oils which evaporate over time. It also helps to prevent wood from cracking and discolouring. How often it should be applied depends on personal use of your wooden items. If you're placing your food directly on the wood, you'll need to wash and feed the board again every dozen uses. If you're just serving dry items (like bread, or condiments in vessels), you can wipe away any crumbs, and feed the wood once it's healthy glow begins to fade.
You can apply Wood Food thinly with cheese cloth or paper towel. Once absorbed, buff to a shine with a soft cloth or clean paper towel, and find your wood fully restored.
Carefully handmade in Canada, from local Canadian beeswax with pure lemon and mineral oils, it's tempting enough to eat.
